Probitas Partners Internship Program

Our internship program provides aspiring lawyers with firsthand experience in the practice of law. Interns are offered an invaluable insight into the day-to-day business of a law firm. Our program gives interns an opportunity to gain practical work experience, enhance employment opportunities and develop a network of contacts within the legal profession.

We welcome students in secondary schools, university undergraduates, and university graduates to apply.

The following internship programs are available for prospective interns:

The Teenagers Internship Program

The Teenagers Internship Program is open to secondary school students and secondary school graduates between eleven (11) and eighteen (18) years of age.

Current students are required to be in good standing (academic and otherwise) with their educational institutions in order to qualify for application to the internship program. Secondary school graduates are required to have passed their secondary school leaving examinations with a minimum of five credits to qualify for application. All applicants below the age of eighteen must obtain parental consent as a prerequisite for acceptance into the internship program.

The program engages interns from 8am until 2pm every weekday for two weeks.

The program engages interns from 8am until 5pm every weekday for four weeks.

The Graduate Internship Program

The Graduate Internship Program is open to recent university graduates who hold a Law degree. This internship is an opportunity to gain some work experience before being called to the Bar, and is therefore not open to Law School students or qualified lawyers.

Prospective interns are required to have graduated with a minimum of a Second Class Lower degree to qualify for the internship program.

Interns are required to work from 8am until 5pm every weekday for eight weeks.
