Our firm has advised several clients on a number of islamic finance transactions. Our islamic finance practice covers the traditional sharia compliant islamic contracts. We also advise on the development of islamic financial instruments as well as hybrid islamic financial products such as parallel salam and sharia compliant securitization.

Our experience includes providing advice and drafting of contracts relating to the major forms of islamic finance and investment, including murabaha, mudaraba, mu’ajjal, salaam, istis’na, ijara. We have also advised on the issuance of sukuk (corporate bonds) in Nigeria.

We also serve as counsel to a pioneer sharia compliant private equity firm in nigeria.
